Who we are
We are women built with grit who live bold and free. Bliss Babe is a women’s empowerment podcast created to inspire, uplift, and connect women everywhere. Each time we meet another strong woman, we’re reminded that bold voices create powerful change. We share authentic stories unapologetically to remind you it’s ok to be your authentic self. We want you to blow the lid off the box the world wants to keep you in.
We aim to free you.
We aim to support you.
We aim to help you find your Bliss, Babe.
A Note From Stephanie - Your Sexy Bestie
Hi, my name is Stephanie Winegardner - I’m a Solid Organ Transplant Nurse turned Micro Farmer/Podcast Co-Host and Cofounder of Bliss Babe. Flowers and chickens transformed my life from the high paced medical corporate world into my slow Blissful life. Starting a podcast with my girl Tami has been reigniting the fire in my soul.
I experienced every color of trauma as a child, well into my young adult life. I’ve been kicked in the teeth more times than most people brush their teeth. I get back up every time, spit the blood out and asked for more. I’m kinda like a Gritty-Fight-Club-Disco-Ball.
More is more is my philosophy - And my newest passion is helping women find their truest self with Bliss. XO!
About Your Other Sexy Bestie - Tami
I’m a Midwest girl living in Southern California, and I’ve been loud as long as I’ve known me. I spent elementary school sitting in hallways, in trouble for talking too much. I spent middle school rebelling. I began my journey to my own truth in high school when I started smoking weed and generally being a hippy.
My life hasn’t followed a straight line—I dropped out of high school, became a mom before 18, and escaped two abusive marriages to give my daughters and myself a better life. Along the way, I put myself through nursing school as a single mom and learned some of the hardest lessons about strength, what being manipulated looks like, and self-worth.
Because I’ve had to rebuild my life more than once, I believe that if life isn’t working for you, you can burn it down and rebuild it better. Happiness isn’t for the faint of heart—you have to walk toward it, even if people don’t understand. It’s not for them, anyway.
Now I live in sunshine, speak my truth unapologetically. I pursue my passions every day. I’m not here to be understood—I’m here to be free. I am a Bliss Babe.
